Hi, we have a 22 foot Buckingham cabin cruiser for sale. It has a petrol inboard engine, 2 ring gas hob and grill, toilet compartment with portapotty, sink with running water and large water tank situated under front cabin seating area.
It is with the safety certificate until 2011, licensed until Feb 2011, ready to go to a nice loving home.
It is a great starter boat or even the next step up, we are only selling as we want to buy a narrowboat and have had some fantastic times on it.

HISTORY
This boat was built for the private use of the owners of R Moore and Sons Wroxham boat builders and hire fleet operators, as they did not get on very well together, it was put into hire fleet in 1952-53 and another 6 built on the same lines, but the workmanship and materials were far superior on the first boat.
Moorhen 1 stayed in hire fleet till 1967 then went into private use kept on yard in wet shed in summer and dry shed winter till 1974-5

Reduced! ‘Glory Days’ is a Bayliner 2550 Ciera Sunbridge. The 2550 is one of the few models where Bayliner introduced the 9½ft beam, allowing for the layout to steer away from the much more conventional ‘V’ berth arrangement. A double berth lies forward, whilst the dining table, located on the starboard side, lowers to offer an additional two berths. The permanent double berth is amidships, and offers plenty of room as the captains bed. Glory Day also has a toilet and shower, making extended cruising much more pleasant for all on board.
The Volvo Penta KAD 32 Duo Prop Diesel Engine was fitted to the boat in 2006. The engine and leg were brand new, ordered direct from Volvo at a cost of around £15,000. Since fitting the 170hp diesel engine, the boat has become much more responsive on the throttle, has quicker acceleration and a higher top speed of 29 knots (33.5mph), which is pretty quick for a 29ft boat. The boat performs excellently and I’ve taken her to Scotland (from Northern Ireland) a number of occasions with little effort. She returns a very efficient and exact average of 1.6 gallons per hour. The tank can hold eight five gallons. Duo-props are A5’s in size and the engine and leg both have a full service history. The clock shows just over 300 hours.
The navigation & safety items include a Philips GPS module, a Lowrance 3300c colour chart plotter, a Cobra Marine VHF, a first aid kit and various fire extinguishers and blankets etc.
For your comfort, there is hot water either via the engine (after about 25 minutes running) or using the immersion heater when plugged into shore power. A recently fitted water pump brings good pressure to both the galley sink and the faucet in the shower room.
The galley is equipped with a four-burner gas hob, a microwave oven and a fridge. As with the rest of the boat, these are in excellent condition. Storage is fairly good with various cupboards for everything that you’ll need for your trip. The diesel eberspacher heater will make sure you keep warm – all year round!
For your on board entertainment, there is a Digital LCD TV with built in DVD player. An Alpine CD/MP3 player will keep the tunes coming all day long, through premium grade speakers and marine subwoofer. The exterior down lighters in the radar arch, add all the style you need as the sun goes down on those warm summer evenings.
You will see from the photos that the hood is in excellent condition, having just been fully serviced, getting new glass and zips replaced as necessary. The exterior seating has been recovered in white and contrasting ocean blue leatherette. The interior seats have also been recovered in new neutral coloured fabric. These works have been completed during the second week of January 2010, as has the newly fitted teak deck. The blue stripes on the hull were also repainted during this winterisation, during which time a brand new rubbing strake was also fitted. Needless to say, new livery was applied at this time too.
The result is a boat that needs nothing but to be enjoyed. Everything has been sorted and the extensive list of works, coupled with the endless service history, brings you the most peace of mind, and most boat per pound that this sort of money can buy you.
