Performance:
The performance of this boat is truly exceptional. Having been totally rebuilt with Volvo’s acclaimed KAD 300 engines, providing nearly 600hp in total, she now cruses at a comfortable 35 Knots and can reach speeds up to 45 knots at full throttle. All this is achieved with remarkably low fuel consumption. In fact the boat is now more economical that she was when equipped with her original AQAD41s.

Here we have for sale my 22 foot long, 9 foot beam Cromer Crab Boat "Sea Pearl'. Built by Stratton Long Marine of Blakeney, their 3rd boat in 1978, she is a very heavily built GRP simulated clinker design, with huge amounts of internal space making for a perfect family or trip boat, able to accomodate at least 8 people comfortably. She is currently out of the water at a professional boat yard, and at the completion of a very thorough refurbisment, including full repaint and varnish, new stainless steel prop shaft, rewire and engine service.
Sea Pearl is running a 3 cylinder Lister ST3 diesel engine, recently fully rebuilt. She has new solid hardwood gunnals, and burr oak seating, and a mahogany plywood engine box. She also comes complete with Hummingbird fish finder, fishermans anchor, fenders and warps.
She is a truly beautiful and incredibly solid boat to handle and enjoy, and lovely to take a nice group of friends down the river or around the coast for a cruise or fishing session. I can imagine that she would also make a very suitable trip boat. These boats can also be rigged and sailed if the fancy takes you.
As said earlier, she is currently out of the water, and due to be slipped back in by the weekend, so an out of the water viewing is easily arranged, as is a cruise in her from next week onwards.

Built by Pedro Boats, one of the leading Dutch builders of steel displacement motoryachts, and launched in 1991, 34 foot Sea Swallow is one of the few boats of her type fitted with twin diesel engines, providing improved manoeuvrability and greater security in the event of engine failure.
Cruising at 7 to 7½ knots, they only burn about 10 litres per hour.
Sea Swallow operated mainly in the English inland waterways until 2001 when she was bought by the present owners who have cruised extensively in her off the west coast of Scotland and north/north west of Ireland. These cruises have been featured in the yachting press (details below).
Although Sea Swallow was built before the current European Recreational Craft Directive regulations were introduced, the more recently built equivalent vessels are classed as Category B, Offshore.
Accommodation comprises a spacious enclosed pilothouse/saloon, dinette/galley, aft- and fore-cabins and toilet/shower compartment. There is also considerable storage space. She sleeps four in one double and two single bunks. In addition, the dinette area opposite the galley converts to another small double bunk.
Sea Swallow is fitted out in teak with good quality upholstery, carpets and curtains.
In addition to the protected interior steering position, there is a second steering position on the fly bridge deck above the aft double cabin.
