The Hagg 36 is a rare and interesting boat. It wa designed by Arthur Hagg (an aircraft designer who worked for de Havilland), this one being built in 1963 and named "Gay Hunter".
She is essentially sound but will need o lot of work to finish (see pictures) although a restoration was started about 10 years ago which included a new bottom. She is constructed from marine ply and would be epoxy coated.
Although originally a twin, she currently has no engines, so there are several options to consider ( back to twin diesels for sea work, maybe electric, or perhaps a pair of outboards... read more
