Turbo-charged Perkins 6354 as removed from boat but without gearbox. Starts and runs well but starter motor needs overhauling.

One of only 9 built A505 is probably the best and most original example of this rare lifeboat. Most of the work required to finish this boat is in the cockpit. Both Enfield outdrive legs are fitted and functional. .
The Mclachlan is in exceptional condition generally. The hull is excellent, we have painted it in 2 pack epoxy and it looks superb. Vintage Dutch Tug, believed built c.1920, fitted with Kelvin T3 and Kelvin RG12 gearbox. This vessel was partially restored between 2007 and 2011 with new wheelhouse, foredeck, aft cabin. The air start MAN diesel was replaced with the three cylinder T3 and 42" propeller. The engine hasn't been started for a few years but with a pair of fresh batteries she will fire up instantly.
