Seamaster 813 for sale. Lovely condition. I've had her for 5 years nearly and is a reluctant sale.
Sabre has an inboard diesel engine. She has 3 leisure batteries and one starter battery. These are charged up either by running the engine or via a generator. I have had a solar panel and control unit installed and this charges up the batteries lovely in the spring/summer.
I've had her since June 2016 and have been on her very happily since then.
I had a new gas regulator fitted so you can connect x2 13kg gas bottles in the locker. In the warmer months 1 bottle can last 4-5 months easily as you're only cooking. If in colder weather obviously less. Heating is supplied by a built in gas fire and cooking is on a Vanessa Flavel cooker. It has an oven, grill and 2 rings, and works perfectly.
Hot water is supplied by a calorifier which is heated by running the engine.
You can get a small boiler installed which is relatively inexpensive so you can have instant hit water but I managed as it was.
There are 12v electrical sockets (same as car sockets) which you can charge phones, laptops and watch TV.
If you go into a marina or somewhere with electricity there is an electric hook up and there are also 240v sockets to use.
There is a small bathroom which has a shower, sink and toilet.
The toilet is not a cassette type toilet. All waste goes into a holding tank and you get it pumped out.
I was going to get her out the water last year and get her antifouled but the pandemic put a stop to that. It's still needing to be done.
Her boat safety is valid till May 2023 so a couple more years before you need to think about that.
