Located under companionway, Yanmar 2GM20 18hp 2-cylinder diesel engine (new 1987). Seawater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed 3-bladed propeller. Stainless steel 10 gallon capacity fuel tank.
The engine was professionally inspected and the head overhauled in 2012 and is in very good condition, last serviced in May 2018.
Mirage 2700 built in 1981 by Maplin Marine Construction Ltd. White GRP hull with blue styling stripe. Gelshield epoxy coated beneath the waterline in 1992. White GRP decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Stainless steel grab rails on coachroof. Cast iron twin bilge keels. Tiller steering to transom hung rudder. Self-draining cockpit.
Coppice has been professionally refitted and upgraded to a high standard during the last 15yrs which has included replacement headlinings, refinished woodwork, replacement upholstery, upgraded chain plates and much more. She comes complete with various spares and appears in very good condition for her age.
5 berths in 2 cabins with approx. 6' max. headroom. Forepeak with double V berth, hatch to foredeck and stowage areas. Heads compartment to starboard with Jabsco marine toilet (new 2001) and sliding wash basin. Hanging locker to port over trotter box. Saloon with two settee berths either side of a folding central table, the port berth has a removable solid lee cloth which stows neatly to starboard. Galley aft to port equipped with an ENO stainless steel 2-burner gas cooker with grill and oven (new 2006), stainless steel galley sink, cool box and good storage space.
