Thinking beyond the traditional boat design was a key facet of the 2600 SE development process. The result is a new active seating design that incorporates more room and better space utilization.
Maxum designers did not let configuration get in the way of good looks, paying close attention to an aesthetic balance of the boat profile and great performance. The 2600 SE has a beam of 8'6" for ease of trailering.
Built on the smooth running Maxum Integrated Hull System, the 2600 SE has predictable operating characteristics and performs well for a variety of boating activities.
With over six feet of headroom, the interior is designed with comfort in mind. It features a large mid-berth, innovative galley, spacious wraparound forward dinette and a large enclosed head.

A compact motor cruiser which was originally constructed in the United States of America.
She offers a nice sinlge cabin with double berth and small kitchen pedestal. There is a separate toilet/wash area. I found the boat to have a nice cockpit with a good helm position. This boat has a full cockpit cover. This facility allows the cockpit area to be used during inclement weather thus giving extra room.
I think this boat would be of interest to those looking for a boat that would be fairly inexpensive to run. She offers scope to cruise rivers (such as the medway), inland waters and coastal areas.
A little bit of upgrading overtime would preserve the boat but this can be planned and undertaken at the same time as having some fun.
With the summer coming and the prospect of warmer weather this is worth a look.
